EdgeIQ will be introducing changes that effect the unique_id that a user can assign to devices. Device unique_id is now globally unique across the EdgeIQ platform. Prior to this change, the unique_id of a device need only be unique to an Organization Account (company_id). This change will improve and expand our support for cloud-native devices - devices that do not require the Edge local service and communicate natively to our platform via HTTPS, MQTT, or LWM2M protocols.
